Michael Skubala makes six changes from the side that defeated Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
George Wickens, James Collins, Conor McGrandles, Freddie Draper, Reeco Hackett and Sonny Bradley all return to the starting line-up to take on the Stags.
Oscar Thorn is named as a substitute for the first time since completing his move from Colchester United last Monday.
Head coach Skubala said: “It will be a good atmosphere today and we know it’ll be a tough game. Mansfield are a different team to what they were last season and have started really well.
“They’ll be up for it for sure and so will we. It’s the same starting XI that did very well for 70 minutes again Plymouth and we want to replicate that.
“We’re at home, we want to take the game to them and be aggressive. The most important thing is ensuring we get the three points.”
