City assistant head coach Tom Shaw recently celebrated achieving his UEFA Pro License at a ceremony at St. George’s Park.
Shaw joins the latest cohort of graduates on the UEFA Pro Diploma, with the 25-strong group meeting at various points across the last 18 months for a variety of sessions at locations such as St. George’s Park and UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany.
The Imps assistant head coach joins an exclusive alumni group of just 600 UEFA Pro Diploma graduates.
The UEFA Pro Diploma is the highest professional game coaching course offered by England Football Learning and is designed to develop highly skilled and aspiring leaders, managers and coaches to create sustained success across football.
The course is delivered across seven modules with a mixture of face-to-face learning, independent study and coach development visits to support learning across the duration.
Speaking after collecting his UEFA Pro License, Shaw said: “It has been 18 months of growth, in the company of some superb people and practitioners.
“I am forever grateful of the support I have received from the tutors, from everyone at Lincoln City, my fellow candidates and my wonderful family.”
