City are into their final four games of the season and are searching for a 26th game unbeaten when making the trip to the Stevenage FC Stadium on Saturday 18 April (3pm KO).

Read the thoughts of both Michael Skubala and Reeco Hackett ahead of the Imps‘ clash with the Boro.

Michael Skubala:

“The biggest challenge has always been promotion which is an excellent achievement. Our full focus now is on winning the title. We're in a good position, but it’s definitely not done.

“I think Stevenage is probably the toughest game away from home that you can get in this league, they’ve only lost two games at home all season and they’re very good at staying in games.

“They’re very well coached by Alex Revell, he’s got them going and for their position they’ve done very well this season and that just shows the unity they have. They’re also very physically dominant.”

Reeco Hackett:

“It’s a massive thing to stay fit, have a rhythm and play the majority of the games because when you’re out there you can contribute as much as possible.

“Scoring goals is what you want to do as an attacker and that’s what you’re in the team for so the more output you can get the better.”

Opposition information:

Stevenage currently sit sixth in Sky Bet League One, holding the final playoff position with a four-point cushion over Huddersfield Town. Alex Revell’s side boast the best home defensive record in the league, conceding just 11 goals when playing on home turf this campaign.

The Boro head into this game having won three of their last five games and will be looking to bounce back after their 5-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers in midweek. Midfielder Daniel Phillips was sent off in that fixture, meaning he will miss Saturday’s fixture against City.

The reverse fixture between the two sides ended with Stevenage heading home from the LNER Stadium empty-handed after a second half strike from Rob Street was enough for the Imps to snatch all three points.
