City will return home to a sold-out crowd against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday 25 April (3pm KO).
After securing the Sky Bet League One title with victory over Doncaster Rovers in midweek, the Imps will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 28 matches.
Michael Skubala:
“When you reflect on what we've achieved, there’s so many iconic parts of this season. I’m not sure we’ll see a season like this again and I don't think we’ve quite taken it in yet.
“We’re quite precious of this building, not many people get in and out because it’s like a family, this our place of work but it also feels like our home.
“We’ve had a great group that we’d assembled together but then again we still needed to go and work and still have to put the hours on the training pitch and get the job done.”
Ryley Towler:
“It’s been an unbelievable season, it’s a joy to come in every day especially these last couple of weeks but from the very start we’ve been outstanding.
“The group's togetherness, it’s hard explaining it, but the group has been so good, and it’s just been an absolute pleasure to be a part of.
“You create the togetherness yourself, the staff and players have been brilliant, every day in training we obviously know what we wanted to achieve and it just comes from working everyday together with a lot of stuff not just on the pitch and off it as well.”
Opposition information:
After finishing in the play-offs last season, Wycombe find themselves 11th in Sky Bet League One with just two games of the campaign remaining, ensuring their place in the league next season.
Their most recent fixture saw them welcome Blackpool to Adams Park where they created more chances than the visitors, but the breakthrough came for the Seasiders as Luke Leahy found the back of his own net. Prior to that, the Wanderers made the trip to the Accu Stadium where they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Huddersfield Town, seeing three goals scored beyond the 90-minute mark.
The reverse fixture between these two sides was another game where goals were plentiful, a first half brace from Sam Bell put the Imps on the back foot before Justin Obikwu and Freddie Draper netted for City to restore parity but in the end it was the Chairboys who scooped all three points with a late Jack Grimmer goal, City's last league defeat all the way back in November.
