Sonny Bradley described City’s 2025/26 Sky Bet League One title success as one of the proudest moments of his career, after the Imps reached 100 points and extended their unbeaten run to 28 games with a 4-3 win over Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
The players and staff were able to celebrate a special moment in front of their supporters as City lifted the third tier trophy at full-time and Bradley believes it is one of the best teams he’s been a part of.
He said: “It’s one of the proudest moments of my career. I’ve never achieved 100 points with any club I’ve been at.
“So when people ask me what the best team I’ve been a part of is, it might just be this, when I look back and finish, going 28 unbeaten and the way everyone is, and the professionalism of the whole group has been immense.”
Bradley was crowned the 617 Squadron’s Player of the Season in the post-match presentations and he spoke of his pride for the whole team.
He added: “It’s not about the players, it’s about the coaching staff and the people like the doctor who went up and collected his award and rightfully so.
“There are so many people at this football club who keep it ticking and they need to be mentioned just as much as the players, I’m proud of all the players but equally I’m proud of all the staff.”
