Read the pre-match thoughts of Michael Skubala and Rob Street and catch-up on key match information in our preview.
Michael Skubala:
“We know that Burton are a very dangerous team and tough to play against, especially away from home.
“They’ve won away at Cardiff and Bradford on the road and come into the game off the back of a win against Huddersfield.
“We have to be on it but we’ll be ready and will make sure that we have a plan in place to give us the best chance of getting three points.”
Rob Street:
"It is always nice to get your name on the scoresheet, so I was really pleased to do that at Luton. Of course, as a striker you always want more and I'll be doing everything I can to add to my tally.
"As a team we've all chipped in with goals throughout the season and that has helped us get some important points on the board. We're not focusing on anyone else, we can only look after ourselves and pick up as many points as we can.
"We know that Burton are a good team, as every side at this level is. They've had some really good away performances of late and we're aware of that. Our home form is strong and we want to continue that."
Opposition information:
The Brewers lifted themselves out of the relegation spots with a crucial home win over Huddersfield Town last Saturday. City loanee JJ McKiernan - who is ineligible for Thursday's fixture - was on target for Albion with Terence Vancooten and Jake Beesley also scoring.
The win halted a run of three successive league defeats for Gary Bowyer's side, who will be looking for their first league win on the road since Saturday 8 November, but have already defeated Cardiff City and Bradford City on their travels.
City and the Brewers have already met twice this season, with Ben House scoring to give City a 1-0 win in the Carabao Cup and Sonny Bradley's header handing the Imps a victory by the same scoreline in the league.
