City head coach Michael Skubala makes one change from the side that drew 1-1 with Mansfield Town in the Imps' last Sky Bet League One outing.
Adam Jackson comes into the starting line-up in place of the suspended Sonny Bradley.
Deadline day signing Adam Reach is on the bench after completing 60 minutes in the midweek Vertu Trophy win over Notts County.
Head coach Michael Skubala said: "It's great to be at home again, we know it will be a tough game for us against a good team. They have a new manager and way of playing.
"We're quite similar in how we want to play the game, so it will be interesting. The team that wins this will have to be good in both boxes.
"In terms of team selection, we have great depth now and it is great to be able to bring Jacko into the starting line-up. The group gets the chance to show what they can do again.
"One thing is having a strong bench, but it's another to have players pushing for that starting shirt. There are a couple on the bench today that have pushed really hard to be involved. That's what you need."
