Michael Skubala makes one change to the side that defeated Rotherham United 3-0 last time out.
Tom Bayliss comes into the team to replace Ivan Varfolomeev in midfield. City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 23 games when they host the Dons at the LNER Stadium.
Skubala said: “We’re fully focused on getting the job done, we can only concentrate on what we do and can’t have an impact on anything going on elsewhere.
“We’ve trained as normal ready for the game, we need to start well and do everything we can to get the three points.
“AFC Wimbledon are a good team, they’ve had a strong season after winning promotion last year. We know it will be tough but, again, we need to focus on ourselves.”
