Head coach Michael Skubala hailed the unity around the club after an incredible day in Cardiff.

More than 3,000 Imps were in South Wales to get behind Skuabala's side, and they played their part in a stunning team performance as goals from Rob Street and Dom Jefferies sealed a 2-0 win.

Skubala said: "Credit to the fans again. In the last 20 minutes, when we needed to dig in deep, all I could hear was our fans. They got us over the line again.

"It's an incredible amount of fans to travel all this way, and i'm glad we can send them back happy.

"The players and fans feel really connected, and it was an amazing moment at the end where the lads came over to celebrate."

The players gave everything again, with Skubala keen to build on this game when City head to Exeter on Tuesday night.

He said: "It's an amazing three points, but as I keep saying it's just three points so it's important we are ready to go and face Exeter next.

"The lads have given everything out there so we need to reassess and see how they are, and we may need to make changes.

"We didn't need Jack Moylan in the end so it's great that we've got players like him and Ryan Oné ready to come in."
