JJ McKiernan has joined Sky Bet League One side Bromley for an undisclosed fee, including a significant future interest in the player.
The midfielder joined the Imps from Morecambe in the summer of 2024 and made 17 appearances for City before spending time on loan at Burton Albion across two separate spells.
McKiernan now makes the permanent move to Bromley ahead of the new campaign.
Sporting director Jez George said: “This is a deal that makes sense for all parties and gives JJ a fresh start at a new home after 18 months on loan.
“We have massive respect for Bromley, who we watched extensively whilst tracking Deji, and this is a really good opportunity for JJ in League One with a club that I am sure will surprise people. JJ leaves with our best wishes and we really hope that he can kick on to fulfil his potential.”
Everyone at Lincoln City would like to thank JJ for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him every success for the future.
