Backed by a sold-out away following, the Imps will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to 16 when they travel to Mansfield Town on Saturday 21 February (3pm KO).
Read the thoughts of both Michael Skubala and Ben House as well as all the key information ahead of the Imps’ clash with the Stags.
Michael Skubala:
“I think the support this season has been phenomenal and the fact the Gold Memberships have flown out the door is great and just shows how the fans are enjoying their football.
“They’re another tough team in this league; they’ve beaten some big teams this season and when you have results like they have in the FA Cup you know they’re a good side.
“This is going to be a hard place to go and get three points from so we’re going to have to be exactly how we were on Tuesday.”
Ben House:
“At the minute everyone is getting excited for every game and it’s important that we take it one game a time.
“Everyone is on it and that’s where we're at as a team right now, everyone wants to do well, and everyone wants to achieve the same thing.
“If you know our changing room, then I don’t think there will be any complacency in there despite the good run of form that we are on at the moment."
Opposition information:
The Stags currently occupy 15th position in Sky Bet League One and recently upset Premier League side Burnley, which saw Nigel Clough's side reach the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time since 1975.
Mansfield’s most recent fixture was a trip to the seaside to face Blackpool in midweek where they were edged out 1-0, with a Niall Ennis first half strike proving to be decisive.
The reverse fixture at the LNER Stadium was an entertaining one when points were shared in a 1-1 draw, where Sonny Bradley was on target for the Imps.
Match information:
David Rock is the man in the middle for Saturday’s game with Drew Dutton and Stephen Wade as his assistants and finally, Daniel Smith as the fourth official.
Coach travel notice:
Please note: City's official coaches travelling to away games will depart from the bus stop on Tentercroft Street for the foreseeable future. This change is required due to changes in road layout around the Sincil Bank area, although the club are committed to working with Lincolnshire County Council to allow a return to the LNER Stadium. Imps fans who are making the trip on official coaches will still be able to park at the LNER Stadium, but we urge you to allow time to get to Tentercroft Street for the departure.
