City are looking to make it 15 games unbeaten in Sky Bet League One as the LNER Stadium gets set to host Northampton Town on Tuesday 17 February (7.45PM KO).

Read the thoughts of both Michael Skubala and Sonny Bradley along with all the key match information ahead of the Imps’ clash with the Cobblers.

Michael Skubala:

"We have to take every game as it comes and keep moving in the right direction. I think we all love games under the lights here at the LNER Stadium and we're going to be backed by another fantastic crowd.

"We're going to need them, I'm truly convinced that every game in this league is going to be very tough. We want our home to be a very tough place to come and the atmosphere on Saturday was in my opinion the best we've had this season.

"Northampton are a hard team to play against and are unbeaten in four games. We just need to follow the same processes we have done all season and prepare as we normally do."

Sonny Bradley:

"Every game that we've gone into so far this season, we've prepared really well and this game has been no different. There are no easy games in this league and we know Northampton will be fighting for the points like we will.

"We're a really mature group and there won't be any complacency from us going into this game. We know Northampton are a good team from when we played them earlier in the season and they come here unbeaten in four.

"Everyone is competing for something and they'll be coming here knowing they need points to move away from the bottom four, so we know this game is just as important."

Opposition information:

Northampton Town currently sit 17th in Sky Bet League One and two points outside the relegation zone. Kevin Nolan’s side head into this game on a four-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Without a loss so far in February, the Cobblers face City off the back of a long trip to Exeter where it ended 0-0. The Imps were victorious the last time the two sides met back in August, when Freddie Draper netted the winning goal in a 1-0 win at Sixfields back in August.
