City are looking to make it 17 games unbeaten in Sky Bet League One when they host Blackpool at the LNER Stadium on Saturday 28 February (3PM KO).

Read the thoughts of both Michael Skubala and Tom Hamer along with all the key match information ahead of the Imps’ clash with the Seasiders.

Michael Skubala:

“We have a sensational group who work hard every day regardless of the things that football looks at in more detail, they have belief they can go and succeed.

“The fans have been great this season and they know how difficult it is for us, but they support the team and that’s so important.

“We want to carry on our good home form and produce good performances, and if we can do that then you get what you want from the game in terms of points and results.”

Tom Hamer:

“I think playing in this defensive unit is a good thing, I’m learning things every day in training and on the pitch so it’s a benefit for me.

“We are all on the same wavelength, once you’ve played a certain number of games together as a unit you start to understand everyone’s strengths.

“Every game we play in League One, I don’t think any of the games are particularly easy or a guaranteed win and I think that’s why we’ve been going out as a group and just playing to our advantages.”

Opposition information:

The Seasiders currently sit 19th in Sky Bet League One just two places and three points above the relegation zone and make the trip to the LNER Stadium off the back of two games unbeaten.

Saturday’s visitors most recently faced Bolton Wanderers at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, with a late Mason Burstow equaliser denying Ian Evatt's side all three points in a 2-2 draw against the high-flying Trotters.

The reverse fixture also ended in a 2-2 draw when City travelled to Bloomfield Road, with Jack Moylan and Rob Street on target for the Imps.
