City continue their Sky Bet League One campaign on Saturday 23 August with a trip up north to Bolton Wanderers (3pm KO).
The Imps head into the fixture following a battling away win at Northampton Town on Tuesday night, with Freddie Draper netting the winner in the first half.
Michael Skubala:
“Sonny has been a huge character for the group, really calm and experienced. He’s a great guy to have around the younger players, we always want to get that balance of experience and younger players right.
“They’re a very good team, lots of players in the building there so it’s always difficult to know exactly what team they’re going to pick because they’ve got two for every position and they’re really strong.
“They dominate at home, dominate the ball quite a lot. We’ve watched all of their games including Wednesday night against Reading where they did very well so we know it’s going to be very tough. It’s always a difficult place to go, a tough crowd but we’ve got to be solid, secure and punch back to get something out of the game.”
Sonny Bradley:
“Any game in League One, especially away from home you’re going to get tested and it’s going to be a difficult game so to come through against Northampton with a clean sheet me and the rest of the defenders were delighted, it gives us a platform to build on moving into a difficult game on Saturday.
“I watched Bolton on Wednesday night, they’re a very good team in possession. You look through their squad and they’ve got some brilliant players as well. It’s always a difficult place to go, when I’ve played there throughout my career you know you’re in for a tough game.
“They’ve got a good manager and coaching staff. They’ll have their own solutions to beat us but on the flip slide we go into every game to win and we head there looking to back up Tuesday and get another three points.”

They came close to a second victory of the season on Wednesday evening but found themselves pegged back late on at home to Reading.
