City host Bradford City on Tuesday 27 January (7.45pm KO). Ahead of the match, we can provide supporters with a guide to plan your visit to the LNER Stadium.

Imps and Bantams to lay wreaths in memory of the 56

Lincoln City and Bradford City will pay their respects to the 56 supporters who lost their lives at the Valley Parade Disaster.

On a day which should have been remembered for the success of Bradford City winning the Division Three trophy, which was lifted pre-match by the Bantams captain and eventual City manager Peter Jackson, the day of celebration turned to a day of tragedy.

A fire at Valley Parade engulfed the main stand resulting in the tragic death of lifelong Imps Bill Stacey and Jim West along with 54 Bradford City supporters, who will always remain in our hearts.

Imps+ commentator John Helm - who was commentating at Valley Parade on the day of the tragedy - will lay a wreath on behalf of City at the Stacey West end of the LNER Stadium, with Bradford City chief executive Ryan Sparks doing so on behalf of our visitors.

This will take place at approximately 7.30pm, please ensure you are in the stadium to join us for this tribute.

The Fan Village is open from 5pm and is perfect for those wishing to avoid queues and get down to the stadium early.

Stadium facilities

Our unisex accessible toilets can be found in each corner of the LNER Stadium, as well as each bar and hospitality suite. Supporters can find them on the stadium map and signposted with toilet icons in and around the LNER Stadium. These toilets also include baby changing facilities.

Bins and recycling

We would like to make supporters aware of new legislation which requires the football club to separate waste. In order to apply, clearly designated bins will be located throughout the stadium. Please help us keep the LNER Stadium clean and tidy by putting your rubbish in the correct bin.

Like every business throughout the country, the Imps are now required by law to comply with new waste regulations, failure to do so will result in the club receiving a fine. Thank you to all supporters in advance for their understanding and cooperation with this matter.

Have you spotted the Ellgia-branded bins around the stadium? Nothing you put in them will end up in landfill!

Love football, protect the game

Every fan should feel safe and enjoy an inclusive experience when they attend matches at the LNER Stadium and dangerous or anti-social behaviour have no place in our game.

City joined other EFL clubs in the Love Football, Protect the Game campaign to educate supporters on the impact of anti-social behaviour and pitch incursions which can result in banning orders for the individuals concerned and significant fines being imposed on the club by the football authorities.

Regulation changes and tough new measures have been introduced this season which will see people who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution.

In addition to bans and criminal sanctions, a range of in-stadium, in-classroom and online resources will be rolled out under the ‘Love Football Protect the Game’ banner, to educate adults and children alike about the hurt tragedy chanting causes. Ground regulations have also been updated to incorporate references to tragedy chanting.

The game will also continue its efforts to combat dangerous, illegal and unwelcome behaviour off the pitch, be it in the stands or online. Last season a host of new measures were introduced by authorities which saw enhanced sanctions applied for people identified entering the pitch, using pyros, taking drugs to games, throwing objects or for discriminatory abuse.
