Oisin Gallagher

Oisin Gallagher started as the Republic of Ireland U21s secured a place in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs with a famous 3-1 victory over England.

Playing at a near capacity Turner's Cross in Cork, Gallagher and his teammates came from behind to beat the reigning European champions, with Tommy Lonergan scoring twice alongside Conor McManus.

The victory saw Gallagher's side finish second in their qualifying group and book their place in November's play-offs for a spot at next summer's tournament.

Yunus Konak

Yunus Konak started for TĂĽrkiye U21s as they secured their place in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs with a goalless draw against Hungary.

The midfielder played 62 minutes before being replaced by Berat Gezek, with the result enough to see TĂĽrkiye finish second in their qualifying group.

TĂĽrkiye will now join the Republic of Ireland and six other nations in November's play-offs, with the four winners securing the remaining places at next summer's tournament.
