Andrei Coubis has been called up by Romania for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
The defender has been named in Gheorghe Hagi's squad for the opening four matches of Romania's League B Group 4 campaign, with the Tricolours set to face Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland across the September and October international windows.
Coubis has made a strong start to life at the ProAmpac Stadium since joining City from Universitatea Cluj in the summer, featuring in five Championship matches so far this season.
The 22-year-old recently registered his first assist for the Imps, setting up Freddie Draper for the winning goal in the 1-0 victory away at Preston North End.
Romania begin their campaign away to Sweden on Friday 25 September, before hosting Bosnia and Herzegovina three days later.
They then travel to Poland on Friday 2 October, before welcoming Sweden to Bucharest on Monday 5 October.
