The Imps turned on the style at the DW Stadium with Dan Nlundulu and TJ Eyoma hitting their first goals of the season to seal victory.
Nlundulu put in one of his best performances of the season and was rewarded with his first strike for the Imps - deftly lifting the ball over Ben Amos after Ted Bishop's sublime chipped pass.
And Eyoma's low finish from a corner ensured three points for Michael Appleton's side.
