Family Zone

We are one of the leading clubs in the country for family excellence and are extremely proud to be one of the few that hold a gold standard for this.

We’d love to welcome you down to the LNER Stadium to watch a game this season and experience all we have on offer.

From football sessions on the 3G AstroTurf, to inflatable challenges ran by Lincoln City Foundation and games in Poacher’s Den, there is something for everyone to enjoy on our matchdays.

We’re particularly proud of our University of Lincoln Fan Village which we continue to develop season by season based on the feedback provided by our supporters. Here you will be able to taste a variety of locally sourced delights, as well as enjoy a range of premium beers and ciders before kick-off, at half-time and after the game.

We welcome you to watch our games in a way which suits you by choosing between our dedicated family stands, a safe standing block, or in our accessible areas for disabled supporters.

SLO team.jpeg

The SLO team includes Heidi Langham, Libby White, Alan Long, Kev Morley and Lindsey Warwick who all work to help improve the matchday experience for supporters.

City’s matchday announcer and SLO Alan Long said: “Our role as a team is very much based on matchday fan engagement. Primarily our role is to meet and greet both home and visiting supporters, assisting with any issues they may have.

“Prior to home games, I contact my counterpart at the visiting club with parking information and visitor guide plus anything else relevant to their visit. I also put information on social media on matchdays for fans ahead of the game.

“At the LNER Stadium we host a number of moments of magic throughout the matchday too. These range from painting the penalty spots, putting out the corner flags, reading the teams out and watching warm-ups from the dugout. Players in the non-matchday squad are also taken to the family stand and Poacher’s den to meet supporters.

“We always have a minimum of two SLO's at every away game to help troubleshoot any issues supporters have.

“Next time you attend an Imps match either home or away, make sure you come and say hello to the SLO team."

The SLO team are on social media and can be seen HERE.

Family fun.jpeg

There's fun for all the family at every home game this season, with more activities available in Poacher's Den.

Poacher's Den, introduced for the 2022/23 season by the club's Foundation, is City's family-friendly area which is open to supporters of both sides ahead of games at the LNER Stadium.

Based at the north end of the GBM Stand and accessed via Sincil Bank, there is now a pool table, putting green and speed stack challenge. A new TV has also been installed for those wishing to play FIFA on the PlayStation.

This is all in addition to the Xbox, table tennis, fussball table and other fun activities at every game.

Poacher's Den is just one of the free activities in place at every home match, with free children's football sessions on the 3G pitch opposite the SRP Stand from 12.30pm every Saturday - there is no need to book on, simply turn up from 12.30pm. There is also an interactive challenge in the University of Lincoln Fan Village at every match.

And for those looking to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, there is a wide range of food and drink options in the Fan Village - including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

The fun does not stop at the turnstiles, either, with lots of exciting moments inside the LNER Stadium as we build up to kick-off.

Supporters from both clubs could be picked out to enjoy a moment of magic before the game, with fans invited to watch warm-ups from pitchside or the dugouts - and youngsters from the home and away ends reading out the teams.
