Lee Mitchell hopes his side can express themselves on the final day of the season as they host Loughborough Lightning at Lincoln Moorlands.
With safety having been secured at Meadow Lane, Mitchell wants his side to enjoy the game against Lightning and play with freedom.
Mitchell said: “We want the girls to express themselves, that’s when they play their best football ultimately.
“When you’re under pressure you get tense and it goes throughout the team. We saw that against County with the way we came out in the second-half, but we still had enough in us to win the game.
“We’re in good shape, and everyone’s looking forward to the match.”
City’s head coach is wary of the challenge that faces them though with Loughborough currently fighting at the top of the table for the one and only promotion spot.
He added: “They’re a good side. We’ve played them once this season in a draw, and they’re a good, well-organised team with some impressive individuals in there.
“Of course they’ll be wanting to win the game for their own reasons, so we’ll just play it like another game, we’ll play as the opposition comes and play to the best of our ability, and hope for a good performance and the right result.”
