Millie Quaintance is happy to see her side clicking into gear after the Imps gained a healthy five points from their last three games.
City are now three unbeaten and could move up two spots in the table if they were to beat Solihull Moors on Sunday 24 March.
Quaintance said: “Recently we’ve brought something together that’s worked.
“We’ve had a few last-minute goals that have taken a few points away from us but something’s clicked and we’ve managed to work something out that’s converted into points that we wouldn’t have got towards the start of the season.
“If we keep going until the whistle blows at the end I think we should be able to take three points on Sunday.”
Quaintance got herself on the score-sheet against Sheffield for the first time since the opening day of the season, and the versatile winger was happy to chip in.
She added: “We managed to take 5 points which was good, obviously we wanted a few more, if we could’ve got seven that would’ve been brilliant, but it was unfortunate in the end.
“It was amazing to score. It was my first goal since the first game of the season, so it was nice. I’ve been involved in a few goals with assists and stuff but it was nice to score the goal.”
