Lee Mitchell feels March will be a defining month for his team as they prepare to welcome Sporting Khalsa to Lincoln Moorlands on Sunday 3 March.
Due to postponements in February, the Imps will now play six fixtures this month and Mitchell is excited for the challenge ahead.
Mitchell said: “March is tough. We looked at February and thought it would change our season one way or the other, but that wasn’t to be with postponements and everything.
“March is huge, we’ve got six games in the month which will only leave two in April and one in May so this is the big month coming up now, so we need to keep players injury free, make sure we’ve got a good squad available every week and really compete.
“Khalsa kicks off a really important month for us, but we’re looking forward to it.”
Khalsa are a side currently flying high in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands, and Mitchell is aware of the threat Andy Mulligan’s side will pose.
He added: “Khalsa are a competitive side, obviously we’ve seen their results this year and they’re flying high and doing well.
“They drew at the weekend but generally they’re one of the stronger teams along with the likes of Loughborough and Boldmere. We’re looking forward to playing them.”
