Toni McHamilton felt City were unfortunate to come out on the losing side as they were defeated 2-0 by Solihull Moors.
Goals from Beth Gallagher and Tiana Russell-Cartwright just before half-time secured the three points for the hosts.
McHamilton said: “It’s a tough one to take, we dominated the whole game apart from those five minutes and that’s the difference in games like this.
“They’ve had two chances and they’ve scored two goals, we played really well but we weren’t clinical enough in the end.
“It wasn’t our day in front of goal, we created enough but the final ball at times wasn’t right, and we weren’t clinical enough with the chances we did have.”
The striker also felt the second-half substitutions did well in their contributions to the match, highlighting the strength in depth that City possess.
She added: “We kept creating the chances, all the subs that came on did really well and that goes to show what strength in depth we’ve got in the squad.
“Everyone’s itching to get on and impact the game and the subs did that.”
