Faith Horner believes the Imps can continue their good 2024 league form and get a positive result when they welcome high-flying Sporting Khalsa to Lincoln Moorlands.
City have lost just once in the league since the turn of the year and Horner wants to build on that momentum at the weekend.
Horner said: “It’ll be a tough game, they’ll be fit, they’ll be wanting to get all the points to continue climbing the league as they are.
“It’ll be challenging but we’ve been on a good run so I don’t see why we can’t get a positive result.”
The Imps won’t be phased by Khalsa’s lofty league position, with their recent 3-3 draw with Loughborough Lightning a key example of City’s success when pinned as underdogs.
Horner added: “We do actually end up playing well against the tougher teams, we all put in that extra two percent and come together as a team when the odds are against us.”
