Jemima Footitt feels she is adapting to playing first-team football after making the step up from academy level this season.
The winger was signed in the summer and has impressed in Lee Mitchell’s side, assisting frequently since the turn of the year.
Footitt said: “It’s the first time I’ve been in a first-team environment, and at first the step is quite different.
“It’s faster paced and more physical but I’m starting to get used to it, and I'm really enjoying it.”
City travel to Sporting Khalsa on Sunday 31 March in their next league fixture, and Footitt is confident that if the Imps apply themselves they can get a positive result.
She added: “It’ll be a tough game, but we’ve shown glimpses of how we want to be playing.
“We’ve been doing really well so if we turn up and we’re clinical and work hard then we should be alright.”
