Katie Williams is ready for a battle as the Imps welcome Leek Town to Moorlands on Sunday 14 January.
The midfielder is keen to continue the momentum that was gained from their comeback victory against Leafield Athletic in their previous fixture.
Williams said: “Leek is always a tough battle of a game, which is fun and it brings out some sides to our players which we don’t always see, so it’s nice to know if there is a battle everyone will get involved and work as a team.
“We always have tight score-lines with Leek, we just really want a win against them - especially at home.”
Williams is also happy to have got off to a winning start in 2024, with the team having a seven week break over the Christmas period.
She added: “It was a good win because it was the first game after Christmas. It’s hard to know what to expect from everyone after the break, so we’ve just got to go for it.
“We had seven weeks off with no game so it definitely feels great to score in the 88th minute to get the win.”
