Lee Mitchell and his City side are ready to attack the second half of the season following the winter break.
The Imps have not played a competitive match since 22 November against Leafield Athletic, and Mitchell is hoping that his side will start positively following the hiatus.
Mitchell said: “We’ve been competitive all season but there’s been a fine line with games just not going our way.
“That’s due to the level of the opposition we face, so we have to continue to work hard and be brave, and attack the second half of the season.”
Unusually City’s next game is against their previous opponents Leafield, and Mitchell is hoping to pick up all three points this time around.
He added: “Leafield were good against us seven weeks ago, I was impressed with a couple of their players.
“They’ll certainly give us a game, so we have to go there and fight because it’s such fine margins now - one or two games could change your league position drastically, so we’ve got to be at it and be ready to go.”
