Chyna McIntosh hopes that the Imps can make a winning start to 2024 and remain consistent going into the remainder of the season.

City haven’t played a match since November, and McIntosh thinks their upcoming fixture against Leafield Athletic is a great opportunity to pick up maximum points.

McIntosh said: “There’s definitely been a lot of positives from the first half of the season within the games. 

“We want to start off the year with a win, and be consistent which should set us well for the remaining half of the season.”

The full-back is also looking forward to getting back out onto the pitch after the winter break.

She added: “I think we’re all really buzzing to get going, obviously we missed quite a few games towards the end of last year so it does feel like ages since we’ve actually played.

“I’m really looking forward to getting going again on Sunday.”
