Maddi Green is feeling confident ahead of her side’s match against Boldmere St Michaels on Sunday 11 February.
The winger played a large role in the first two goals that City scored at Loughborough Lightning last weekend, and she is hoping to continue that form into the rest of the month.
Green said: “I definitely feel a lot more confident having played that match, and going into the next game against Boldmere my confidence is high and I’m very excited to play against the second placed team in the league.”
Boldmere are currently pushing for an immediate promotion back to step three, but Green doesn’t fear any opponent in this league, believing anything can happen in every game.
She added: “Anyone in this league is capable of taking points against anyone it’s just about whoever turns up and shows up on the day.
“The teams are very close in this league so everyone is very eager and ready to go.”
