Lee Mitchell is confident his side will have the right mentality going into their fixture against Sheffield FC in the first round of the FAWNL Plate.
Despite sitting bottom of the current standings, Mitchell believes Sheffield are not a side to be under-estimated.
Mitchell said: “They’ll be looking for a turning point and they’ve got the quality to do it, and with everything they’ve got going on it might bring them some unity.
“We’ve got to be mindful of that and be ready for a battle. We aren’t taking it lightly, and we’ve got enough respect for Sheffield to know that they can turn it around.”
Mitchell is also keen to bounce back following the Imps’ 3-1 defeat at Sutton Coldfield Town.
He added: “Credit where credit is due, Sutton Coldfield worked hard and they nullified what we had.
“The only response is what we do against Sheffield. We’ve taken loads of learning points and positives, so it’s about putting that into practise now.”
