Katie Williams said City were focused on winning the game after conceding two second-half goals to draw with Sheffield.
Williams thought City were on the front foot as the game neared its close after goals from Stacey Buxton and Tilly Hallas-Potts had cancelled out the first-half strikes of Williams and Toni McHamilton.
Williams said: “Everyone was on the same page after it went to 2-2, we knew we were on top of the game.
“Although we conceded two quick goals it didn’t phase us because we were all focused on winning the game.”
The midfielder’s opening goal was her first of the season, and Williams was delighted to get off the mark.
“It was very nice to score.
“I saw the ball in the box and in my head I thought just hit this low and hard. It had to go in.”
