Faith Horner is expecting a tough battle as City welcome Leafield Athletic to Moorlands.
The Imps are hoping they can build on their current confidence, coming off a brave performance against third-tier Derby County last weekend.
Horner said: “I think they’ll come out with a lot of fight, they’re towards the bottom of the league, so they need all the points they can get.
“It will be a tough game, but there’s every chance of us getting a result.”
Horner also hopes that her side can carry forward the defensive grit and communication skills they exhibited against Derby in their previous fixture.
She continued: “Especially within my position in defensive midfield, it helps when everyone is talking to each other because it makes it more organised.
“I think the more you battle in a game, the more you gain that edge and then it’s just about finishing your chances, so I think if we take that belief and heart into the league games, we’ll get results.”
