Toni McHamilton believes there are plenty of positives for Lincoln City Women to take into next season.

The centre-forward finished as City’s top scorer this season with 14 strikes, and says there is plenty of belief among the players after a strong conclusion to the campaign.

She said: “We’ve finished on a high and have the foundations to build on for next season.

“Women’s football is growing and it’s great to be involved in a club like Lincoln City, we’re all excited about what lies ahead.

“It’s fantastic to have a club like this in Lincoln for girls to aspire to be involved with, it’s exciting for women and girls in Lincolnshire.”
