City forward Jess Rousseau is taking confidence from last weekend's season opener.
The Imps scored three at the LNER Stadium on Sunday and Rousseau is eager to bring those positives into the first away match of the season at Stourbridge.
She said: "You always want to score as an attacker in the first game and having quite a few goals for us has probably set everyone off on the same foot.
"We know we can put goals away so going into this next game, we know we can finish and it’s a matter of how many."
Reflecting on their last fixture against Doncaster Belles, Rousseau insists that the side can learn from the result heading into a busy schedule of fixtures.
She added: "We have all picked ourselves up and reflected from that, I think it’s something we can all build on going forward, we know how it feels to lose.
"On Sunday we are going to help each other out and look to get the win this time."
