Player Biography

The Imps completed the signing of young shot-stopper Zach Jeacock on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.

Jeacock joined Birmingham City at the age of eight, but only switched his position to a goalkeeper at the age of 14. He signed a two year scholarship with Birmingham’s Academy in 2017 before being offered a professional deal in March 2019.

He signed for National League North side Gloucester City on loan in August 2019 - he made 13 appearances in the first half of the campaign before being recalled by his parent club. His big moment for the xxx in his fourth appearance saving a late penalty and being named Man of the Match.

Jeacock made his debut for Birmingham in a Sky Bet Championship fixture against Brentford keeping a clean-sheet in a 1-0 victory - he went on to make a further 4 appearances for the Blues and rejoined Gloucester City on loan where he made 31 appearances before leaving for the Imps.

Jeacock’s debut for the Imps came in the Carabao Cup against Harrogate Town. His first game in the league was away from home against Peterborough United where he replaced the injured George Wickens. He continued deputising for Wickens against Wigan Athletic where he kept a clean-sheet in a 0-0 draw.

Following a short loan spell with Southend United, Jeacock made 11 appearances after an injury to Wickens including a return to Birmingham City in a third round FA Cup tie.

Jeacock started all of City’s Vertu Trophy and Carabao Cup games in 2025/26, appearing in a home fixture against Chelsea.
