Midfielder Yunus Konak joins the Imps on a season-long loan from Premier League side Brentford.

He progressed through the Sivasspor academy before making his senior debut during the 2023/24 campaign. The midfielder quickly established himself at senior level, making 17 appearances in the Turkish Süper Lig during his first season with the first team. His performances earned recognition at international level, with Konak representing Türkiye at U18 and U21 level. He was also named among The Guardian's 60 best young talents in world football for 2023.

In January 2024, Konak made the move to English football, joining Premier League side Brentford. He went on to make his senior debut for the Bees during the 2024/25 campaign, featuring in both the Premier League and domestic cup competitions.

Seeking further first-team experience, Konak joined Championship side Oxford United on loan in January 2026. He made 16 Championship appearances during the second half of the campaign, gaining valuable experience in the English second tier.

Now, Konak arrives at the ProAmpac Stadium for his latest challenge, joining the Imps on loan for the 2026/27 Championship campaign as he looks to continue his development and make his mark with Lincoln City.
