Forward Tanto Olaofe joins the Imps on a season-long loan from Championship side Charlton Athletic.

Olaofe began his footballing journey with Millwall, joining the club’s academy as a teenager. He made his senior debut during the 2019/20 campaign before beginning a series of loan spells that would provide valuable first-team experience.

Olaofe enjoyed his first spell with Sutton United in 2020, scoring once in five appearances before returning to the club later that year. He quickly established himself as an important player, scoring 16 goals during the 2020/21 season as Sutton were crowned National League champions and secured promotion to the EFL. 

The forward subsequently spent a short period with Scottish side St Johnstone before returning to Millwall, making three senior appearances. In January 2023, he joined Stockport County permanently and quickly became a key part of the side, scoring 21 goals across all competitions during his first full season as County won the League Two title in 2023/24.

Olaofe continued his impressive form in League One, scoring 12 goals and registering four assists during the 2024/25 campaign as Stockport finished third in the division. His performances earned him a move to Championship side Charlton Athletic in July 2025, where he made 25 appearances during the first half of the 2025/26 season before returning to Stockport on loan for the second half of the campaign.

Now, Olaofe arrives at the ProAmpac Stadium for his latest challenge, joining the Imps on loan for the 2026/27 Championship campaign.
