Freddie Wilson started the first year of his scholarship with City at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.

He began his Imps’ career in style when finding the back of the net in pre-season as Sam Tillen’s side made the trip to Guisley.

Wilson has often been the dedicated set-piece taker for the young Imps, setting up many goals from corners and even winning the club’s October Goal of the Month award for his free kick against West Bromwich Albion.
