Joe Hutchinson started his second spell at Lincoln City in June 2025, taking up a role as head of talent identification.

Hutchinson started his career at Hull City as their first team analyst in 2014 before moving into a role within the Football Association which saw him work mostly with the National Team’s U17s and U18s.

He arrived at the Imps in 2020 for his first spell as head of recruitment and performance analyst. Hutchinson was instrumental in recruiting the squad that reached the Sky Bet League One playoff final in 2021, which included the likes of Brennan Johnson and Morgan Rogers. He spent two-and-a-half years at Grimsby Town as head of recruitment for the Mariners, prior to his return to the Imps.
