Tom Hamer arrived at the LNER Stadium in the summer of 2024 after a long stint with Burton Albion.

Hamer started his career at Oldham Athletic and came through the ranks at the Latics going on to make 105 appearances.

The versatile defender joined Burton in 2021 and went on to appear 147 times, scoring 9 times and assisting 17. 

Hamer had a solid debut season in red and white, overcoming an injury to become a mainstay in the side towards the back end of the campaign.
