City secured the signature of versatile midfielder Dom Jefferies in July 2024.

Jefferies began his career at Newport County before signing for Brentford B and later Gillingham - where he was named the club’s Young Player of the Year in his first season at Priestfield.

After clocking up 71 appearances across two seasons at Gillingham, he joined the Imps and enjoyed a promising opening campaign recording seven goal contributions.

Following a long-term injury, Jefferies didn’t feature until November 2025 but made a huge impact after returning making 28 appearances and scoring two goals including a crucial one when the Imps made the trip to face Cardiff City.
