City stopper George Wickens has been nominated for the September PFA League One Fans’ Player of the Month.  

Wickens made a raft of impressive saves in four league games during the month, keeping two clean sheets in that time.  

The 23-year-old – who celebrated his 50th game for the Imps last Saturday – has been nominated alongside the following:  

  • Devante Cole, Port Vale 

  • Omar Bugiel, AFC Wimbledon  

  • Josh Neufville, Bradford City  

  • Harvey White, Stevenage  

  • Lorent Tolaj, Plymouth Argyle
