Children from Wellow House School were recently given an unforgettable experience, courtesy of City’s platinum partners, TQ Services Ltd.

35 children were invited to the LNER Stadium for an exclusive stadium tour, where they visited the executive boxes and even got to meet the players!

They then had a look at the recently-opened TQ Services corner at the LNER Stadium, a family-friendly area with loads of fun games and activities to take part in before matchdays.

The aim of the vision was to showcase to the children the vast opportunities and career pathways that are offered by football and the sports industry in general.

Every child left with an official EFL Panini sticker book and a signed shirt to treasure, with a signed matchball donated to the school.

Terence Quick, director of TQ Services, said: “We were delighted to welcome pupils from Wellow House School for an exclusive behind-the-scenes stadium tour. We chose this school because of its long-standing commitment to developing confident, curious, and well-rounded young people.

“We would also like to express our gratitude to Lincoln City and their outstanding team for making this experience possible. Their willingness to open their doors and engage so positively with the pupils demonstrates the club’s genuine commitment to community involvement and youth development. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every child had an enjoyable, inspiring, and memorable day.

“The enthusiasm and excitement shown by the pupils reaffirm why TQ Services Ltd is passionate about creating opportunities like this. We will continue to expand these experiences and offer similar packages to other schools across the region, ensuring even more young people benefit from meaningful, educational engagement with sport and community.”
