The Imps enjoyed a busy September, with three first-team strikes and a goal from the Academy making up the shortlist.

Read about the nominees below and cast your vote for your favourite.

Mikkel Ladefoged vs Southampton

Mikkel Ladefoged made an immediate impact, scoring a dramatic late equaliser against Southampton at the ProAmpac Stadium in just his second appearance for City.

A pinpoint cross from Reeco Hackett picked out the forward in the box, with Ladefoged rising highest to power a towering header past Saints goalkeeper Daniel Peretz.

The goal earned the Imps a share of the spoils in a memorable moment for the Danish forward.

Freddie Draper vs Preston North End

Freddie Draper opened his Sky Bet Championship goalscoring account in style, netting the winner in a 1-0 victory over Preston North End at Deepdale.

Andrei Coubiș' long throw caused problems in the Preston penalty area, with the ball falling to Draper, who made no mistake to send the travelling Imps supporters home celebrating three points.

The goal also marked a full-circle moment for the forward, who had previously scored at Deepdale for City in the FA Youth Cup.

Freddie Draper vs Bristol City

Just days after his decisive strike at Preston, Draper scored the winner in a second consecutive 1-0 victory, this time against Bristol City.

A high press led by Chieo Ogbene, Ben House and Draper forced an error from the visitors, with House winning possession back from a stray pass before Draper finished the move to secure all three points for the Imps.

The forward's second goal in as many games continued City's impressive run of form.

Leo Fifield vs Walsall U18

Leo Fifield completes the shortlist after finding the net for City’s U18s against Walsall. A superb team move from back to front by Isaac Rice and Sam Tillen’s side was finished off by the in-form Fifield.

The move finished with Fifield receiving the ball inside the box, taking two touches before finishing past the Walsall goalkeeper to cap off an excellent attacking move from the Imps’ U18s.
