A number of City’s Sky Bet Championship fixtures have been selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports, resulting in changes to kick-off times across the first half of the 2026/27 season.
The Imps' first home game of the campaign, the visit of Portsmouth on Saturday 22 August, will now kick-off at 12.30pm after being selected for live coverage on Sky Sports Football. The home game against West Ham United on Wednesday 14 October will also be shown live on Sky Sports Football, with kick-off pushed back 15 minutes to 8pm as a result.
The home fixtures against Southampton (Saturday 5 September, 12.30pm KO), Birmingham City (Saturday 31 October, 12.30pm) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (Saturday 28 November, 12.30pm) will all be shown live on Sky Sports+, as will the trips to Millwall (Saturday 14 October, 12.30pm) and Burnley (Tuesday 29 December, 7.45pm).
City’s home fixture against Norwich City has been moved to Sunday 13 December following an agreement between the two clubs. This match will not be broadcast on TV.
A total of 112 EFL fixtures set to be broadcast between 9 October 2026 and 9 January 2027. Continuing the commitment made to provide greater notice to supporters, the next batch of broadcast selections will be confirmed by 6 November for all matches to be played between the end of the third round of the FA Cup and the midweek of 2-3 March 2027.
