The young Imps are returning to the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre to face Chesterfield in a rearranged fixture on Tuesday 17 February (11am KO).
City head into the game off the back of a 3-1 loss to Grimsby Town, but the squad showed resilience against the team placed second in the Youth Alliance North. There was a big age disparity in that fixture, and it could be a similar story when facing the Spireites.
Tillen said: “Obviously we had a couple of knocks against Grimsby that we’ll have to assess, that’s on top of already having a number of players out and being such a young group.
“I know there are a couple of lads looking to make a return against Chesterfield though, hopefully we’ll have both Lewy Oliver and Donald Inyama available.”
Despite a few injury concerns for the young Imps, Tillen is still positive about the chances of his group going forward into Tuesday morning's fixture.
He added: “Hopefully with the few extra bodies back it will help the lads overcome the disappointment of the result because there were definitely positives to take from the game.
“If we are able to rectify some of the things we did wrong then we can really boost the morale of the group with a positive result.”
