Paudie O’Connor returned to the starting XI as City took on Stockport County at Edgeley Park.
The skipper had to settle for a place on the bench against Bolton Wanderers on Easter Monday after returning from suspension, but came back in to partner Adam Jackson in the Imps’ defence.
That was the only change made from the team that impressed in the 4-2 win over Wanderers.
Tom Hamer dropped out of the matchday squad due to a hip injury, though it is not expected to keep him out beyond this weekend.

Head coach Michael Skubala said: “Tom’s got a little bit of inflammation in his hip. He’s been fantastic for us this season but hopefully we’ll have him back ready for selection against Wrexham next weekend.
“Stockport have been on a great run and are unbeaten at home since the beginning of January, so we know we’ll be in for a tough game - but we’re here to come and go for a result.”
More than 1,100 Imps fans were due to make the trip over to Manchester for this fixture, with Skubala appreciative of the support and another sold-out away end.
He added: “It’s amazing to have so many fans coming, many in fancy dress. I’m told there have been problems with the trains today that’s made it even harder for them - they’ve been fantastic all season and I’m sure they’ll get right behind us again.”
