Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw make five changes to the starting XI for City’s Sky Bet Championship visit to Queens Park Rangers.
Adam Reach returns to the backline, while Conor McGrandles is also recalled after missing the previous two fixtures against Birmingham City and Watford with a knee injury.
Reeco Hackett and Dom Jefferies also come into the side, with Mikkel Ladefoged completing the five changes after completing concussion protocols to feature at Loftus Road.
Head coach Chris Cohen said: “It’s lovely to have Conor and Mikkel back. As I’ve said before, the players’ health is always the most important thing, first and foremost.
“They’ve both come through training really well, so naturally they’re both back in the starting XI. It’s a big boost for us to have them available again.”
Cohen is looking forward to seeing Ladefoged link up with Freddie Draper in attack, with the pair offering a combination of physical presence and technical ability.
He added: “They’ll look different in different parts of the game, whether that’s in possession, out of possession or in transition.
“The intention is to utilise the obvious physical strengths they have, but they’re both brilliant footballers as well.
“We’re really excited to see them play together and I’m sure the supporters will be too. Hopefully we can use their qualities to affect a very good football team.”
