Michael Skubala made three changes to the side that defeated promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town in midweek.
Conor McGrandles returns to the XI to face his former club, replacing Tom Bayliss. Ben House and Erik Ring also come into the team, with Reeco Hackett and Joe Gardner making way as head coach Skubala rotated his side.
He said: "Charlton are the form team in the division after Birmingham City - they are very physical and have a lot of power in their team. It's big pitch and we'll have to be on it as.
"We will always put out a team we think can win, but between now and the end of the season I would like to see some players in some different positions.
It's a chance for whomever has the shirt shows me what they can do looking ahead to next season, but more importantly about going out and performing now."
