Dom Jefferies makes his first appearance since April as head coach Michael Skubala makes nine changes as the Imps travel to Barnsley in their final Vertu Trophy group game.

Adam Jackson keeps his place in the backline as captain Tendayi Darikwa and Ryley Towler come back into the defence with Oisin Gallagher making his return from injury.

Jefferies returns to the City midfield alongside Fin Barbrook. Erik Ring is the other Imp to retain his place from Saturday afternoon as James Collins comes into the lineup to lead the line. Jack Moylan returns to the bench for the first time since August when he suffered a serious injury in the Carabao Cup win at Harrogate Town.
